Changes

Over the weekend I saw even more art, starting with studio visits in the Lauralhurst Artwalk in NE Portland, and finished with several galleries in the Pearl. My favorites were Michael Schlicting's and the show at Blackfish with Kirk Botero. If you are in the Portland area I'd encourage you to see the show at Blackfish.

Blues and Oranges v6
I couldn't resist, the painting needed more color variations in the darks and the oranges. I wanted to have some push-pull in the colors. I seem to inch up to what for me can be a finished piece.
Tonight is the monthly critique meeting and I'll see if any of the members have suggestions for changes to this painting.
