Another in what is turning into a series on estuaries, tidal flats and othe spots where land and water mingle.I have used some of these forms in recent abstracts as I enjoy the challenge of expressing the landscape without enumerating its features. I find it easier to do this using the extreme close up,as many artists have. Keeping a big focus without detailing/depicting "reality" conveying the mood or atmosphere of a place is a more difficult task for me.
