More When Is It Done?

More thoughts on when am I done with a painting. As I am working through a new idea/concept for a painting I may make many corrections and revisions as i stumble my way to what I hope is a good image. I at times it may hang on the wall in the studio for weeks a reminder of areas where it worked and parts that need to be improved. I may make other starts and studies to try and push my self while exploring other ways solve what ever goals were set.
Such is the case with the four small paintings I've done in the what may be a series using the colors sienna (an iron oxide pigment that ranges from yellows to reds) and blue. The concept is to express landscape or some part of it without being specific in imagery. Here is an other one in that vein.
