Spring is on the Way.

Spring in the Pacific Northwest, this year is cool and damp, but some of my hot paintings will be in group shows this April. The Watercolor Society of Oregon's 47th Spring Show and Convention is in Eugene. The juror, Betsy Dillard Stroud. chose 80 paintings from some 350+ submissions, my piece Terroir I, a mixed media on paper is in the show. which opens on Friday April 1 for Eugene's first Friday Art walk. The  awards and WSO reception will be on Saturday April 2. The show is in Jacobs Gallery, Hult Center,Eugene. Here is the painting in case your not in Eugene this month.

The following weekend in Coos Bay at the Coos Art Museum the 11th version on Expressions West  opens on Friday April 8th. That story and my painting iare here.

Finally the third  Friday in April  at Portland Art Museum's Rental Sales Gallery is the Spring intake show for new work by the gallery artists. This painting will be there.
